The Girls Beverly Youth Lacrosse teams play in the
Mass. Bay Girls Lacrosse League (MBGLL)
Practice is held two days per week and our games are held on Sundays typically in the afternoon. Players that participate in the weekly practices can expect roughly equal playing time. If teams have large rosters, players that do not participate in the weekly practices may see their playing time reduced.
Our coaches pledge to care for each child in the program and teach the fundamentals and values of the game in a fun and safe environment.
Our Players pledge to care for every child in the program, and understand the importance of practice, patience and teamwork as they learn to play this wonderful game.
If at any time you feel we are not following these guidelines please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you and best wishes for the 2014 season.

About the Girls Lacrosse program
Beverly Girls Youth Lacrosse program - BGYL
BGYL plays in the Mass. Bay Girls Lacrosse League (MBGLL) - within the recreation division.
We play 8 regular season games all on Sundays, starting in early April.
MBGLL is in charge of scheduling and they do their best to schedule each team with 4 Home and 4 Away games. There are no MBGLL games scheduled on Memorial day weekend.
On the 9th weekend MBGLL hosts a league wide tournament and each team which chooses to go, will have the opportunity to play three - 25 minute games. The weekend tournament has 4 sessions - Sat AM and PM as well as Sun AM and PM. BGYL always goes so every parent should PLAN for it !
Pre-season practice usually takes place twice a week in March within one of the Elementary School gymnasiums. In the past we ran U11 from 6-7 pm; U13 from 7-8 pm; and U15 from 8-9 pm. All players signed up will receive an Email from the league a week or two in advance announcing the start of practice. Please be sure your US Lacrosse membership is up to date.
Regular Outdoor Practice is two days a week at the Memorial School Fields, usually 5:30 to 7 PM. In past seasons we had U15 practicing on Tues and Thurs, w/ the U11 & U13 team on Wed and Fri. The day and time are the decision of the Head Coach for each team.
We are planning to hold a clinic for at least two nights for all new players as well as a question and answer session for all new parents.
As for payment, we have not set-up the on-line payment method on the website as of yet. You can give or send your check to Andrew Beaudry at the address below.
